Simon Pound joined The Gasparilla Inn & Club team in 2009 as the manager of The Inn's celebrated Main Dining Room. Simon manages the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and BZ's, including staffing, reservations, special events and The Inn's wine program.
Prior to joining the resort, Simon was the assistant general manager and food and beverage director at the famed Inn at Little Washington, managing all aspects of the dining room, special events, reservations, housekeeping and the guest experience. Most recently, Simon served as the director of operations at Pure Hospitality in Washington, DC, where he oversaw three nationally renowned restaurants: Hook, Tackle Box and The Mad Butcher.
Simon attended Scotland's Stirling University and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and philosophy.
