Simon Pound

Simon Pound joined The Gasparilla Inn & Club team this season as the manager of The Inn's celebrated Main Dining Room. In his new role, Pound will manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and BZ's Bar, including staffing, reservations, special events and The Inn's wine program.

Prior to joining the resort, Pound was the assistant general manager and food and beverage director at the famed Inn at Little Washington, managing all aspects of the dining room, special events, reservations, housekeeping, and guest experience. Most recently, Pound served as the director of operations at Pure Hospitality in Washington, DC, where he oversaw three nationally renowned restaurants: Hook, Tackle Box and The Mad Butcher.

Pound attended Scotland's Stirling University and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics and philosophy.
