A Memorable Culinary Experience Becomes Even More Extraordinary

As a guest of The Gasparilla Inn & Club, you can always expect fine food exquisitely prepared and graciously served. New this season at The Inn are the culinary creations of our executive chef, Peter Timmins, CMC.

For the past three years, Chef Timmins has been the featured guest chef at our annual Food & Wine Weekend where attendees dined on his acclaimed classic American cuisine with a unique touch. Most recently, he was executive chef at The Greenbrier in West Virginia. In 2002, he was awarded the distinction of Certified Master Chef, the highest and most demanding level of achievement of all American Culinary Federation certifications, one of only 60 chefs in the world that has earned this coveted title.

Born in Ireland, Chef Timmins began his impressive culinary career at the age of 16 at one of Ireland's premier hotels. Having studied culinary arts at St. Mary's College, a college renowned throughout Europe, Chef Timmins competed several times in the international Culinary Olympics and in 2005 was awarded the American Culinary Federation President's Medallion for his superb talents. We are thrilled that he is bringing his classically inspired menu creations to be enjoyed by all in our Main Dining Room, as well as influence the other dining venues offered across the resort.

For a more resort casual experience, you will love having lunch or dinner at our popular Pink Elephant Restaurant with its outdoor patio and downstairs pub room. A more formal ambience prevails upstairs at The Pink. You can also have a relaxed lunch at our Beach Club or the Gasparilla Golf Club Gazebo. From mid-day to late night, tasty snacks and signature drinks are on tap at BZ's, a comfortable gathering spot in The Inn.
