The Gasparilla Inn & Club is a proud member of Historic Hotels of America (HHA) and the National Trust for Historic Preservation (NTHP).
As a member, The Gasparilla Inn & Club is one of more than 200 unique properties in the U.S. recognized by the NTHP for preserving and maintaining their historic integrity, unique architecture and ambiance. Member hotels must be at least 50 years old, and either listed in, or eligible for, the National Register of Historic Places, or recognized locally as having historic significance.
"To be a member of the NTHP and Historic Hotels of America is not only an honor, but a testament to the resort's timelessness," said Jack G. Damioli, president and general manager of The Gasparilla Inn & Club. "Unlike so many properties in Florida, we have chosen to preserve our resort's unique character so that our guests can enjoy an experience in a setting that reflects a simpler, more genteel time."
